  • Fix: Enhanced Input User Settings now uses a string instead of a Gameplay Tag for the Key Profile (Error in BP_MenuControllerComponent)
  • Fix: Infinite Loop when entering main menu due to OnFocusChanged. UE5.6 changed how focus is handled in CommonButtonBase.
  • Fix: DA_GlobalMenuConfig settings are reset to empty values on project restart. This will also cause an error when trying to press New Game, Load Game or Save Game, as the levels are also set to empty values in the config file.
  • Fix: Packaging Error after Cooking Step for BP_MenuSystemLibrary.
  • Fix: Black Background not visible in Intro Menu
  • Fix: Ingame Menu Keyboard Icons for Tabs are displayed (white squares). Current Input Type is always Mouse and Keyboard after opening the Ingame Menu.
  • Fix: WhiteSquareTexture from the Engine folder is being used in WBP_LoadingScreenMenu > LoadingProgressBar > Fill Image. This can cause packaging errors.
  • Fix: Controls Settings could not be read correctly on Console platforms.
  • Fix: Navigation Keys no longer trigger OnKeyDown. This makes it impossible to interact with widgets like the OptionsPicker using Gamepad D-Pad or Arrow Keys on a Keyboard.
  • Fix: Credits don’t end automatically when waiting for the end.
  • Fix: Keybinder duplicate key detection during rebind does not work.
  • Fix: Space and Enter can not be used in Key Binder rebinding.

We're excited to announce that Menu System Pro 2.0 is now available for UE5.0 and UE5.1! This update includes a complete overhaul and introduces many new features, making it a significant upgrade from the previous version. However, please note that due to the update's sheer size, it's a breaking change, and you should remove all old files before updating. Alternatively, you can use this update for your next game/project.

We're currently finalizing the documentation, which we plan to have ready by this weekend. In the meantime, you can check out the work-in-progress version of the documentation already available on the Marketplace. We'll also be releasing a Quick Start Guide Video shortly.
